I have a few reports developed in Crystal Reports 10.

The page layout for these reports are 11 x 17 landscape. I have set this in the printer settings and saved my rpt.

When I publish to CE and try to view the reports.
I do not see all the fields on the report
Half of the report is cut off because the CE default seems to be letter size.

I have tried using all possible viewers. Also the best one for me has been the ActiveX viewer since all other viewers mess up my header formatting(which are vertical headers 90 degrees)

How do I change my CE page layout or is there something I can do to have my viewer display the entire page.

Please help!!

Hi,
Be sure the same printer/driver is installled on the CE server as is on your Client machine...The printers on the server determine the layout possibilities..After publishing you can specify that printer ( if it is not the default for the server)

BTW, only the ActiveX viewer ( and maybe the Java one, I've never tried that) supports rotated text since all the others are limited by what HTML tags can produce..

Thanks Turkbear.

I did check and found that the server had the same printer settings as my client pc. Turns out our CE admin opened the reports on his personal CR and did a save as to CE thro there...That caused the reports to get saved with his local printer defaults ... rolls eyes.

All good now tho...and java viewer works good for the reports except its a bit slow.
