Hi I am trying to open a PRoject that was create in MS Projects. Is there a free viewer or do I have to have a copy of the software. I do not create projects just view them.
P2002/P2003: Various options:
get a CAL and use PWA; or
File | Save As | choose web page and follow the Wizard; or
File | Save As | choose database or spreadsheet and follow the Wizard.
Other recent releases did not have a viewer. Get the person to print it out or save it as a database or spreadsheet.
There are several Project viewers out there, but none of them are free. Our company looked at a few and selected Steelray. I don't need it, but what's nice is I can send out my .mpp files and my whole team can open them for the cost of about one copy of Project.
