View-->Details Registry Key

Anyone know where the reg key is to choose which View style to use (details, thumbnails, list, icons, etc.)? I'm writing a vbscript that changes various settings, this one included.

I have seen it suggested that the Shellstate value in this registry key may have some bearing on the matter but I can't find much information concerning this.

Whenever I have a question about any registry key related to any GUI operation, I use Regmon (free) from Sysinternals.
