Hi<br><br>I was thinking of using video conferancing but someone tells me that the refresh rate of all the softwares/vifeo cameras is very low and it feels and looks like as if you are watching still pictures. I want to setup video and voice conferancing too and would like some suggestion please.<br><br>Thanks
I work for a company that does videoconferencing sales and support. I've personally worked with it for a year and I think the quality is good. Of course the image quality does depend on the total speed you use (i.e. 384 is clearer than 128)<br><br>We use a wide range of software/hardware and do provide the support to go with it. If you would like more information check out our website at <A HREF="
or you can contact our Regional Sales Manager at <A HREF="mailto:TStark@camsysco.com">TStark@camsysco.com</A>; please be sure to note how you got his information.<br><br>Thanks, and if there's anything else I can help you with let me know <A HREF="mailto:RBross@camsysco.com">RBross@camsysco.com</A><br><br> <p>RLB<br><a href=mailto: > </a><br><a href= > </a><br>
Hi i have set up Videoconferencing for my company ,very cheaply and successfully. The refresh rates and imag quality are Real time ,more than 30 frames per second.
I have used a USB based WEB cam (DU-C300/560) and Microsoft netmeeting software does the rest for Poit to point.Thouh i should tell you that we have a 100Mbps LAN which is a big factor in speed. Also for multi party V.C., i have used teh free ware Cu.SEEme V1.0(all others are shareware) and a reflector available free from the web.and it works.
We are using Desk top based Video COnferencing systems using D-Link USB cams and Microsoft NetMeeting 3.0 s/w.I have limited the bandwidth to 128Kbps(even though we have T1 LAN)and i am getting about 25fps,which is pretty good,no echo worth mentioning.good refresh rate.
well its Horses for corses
the faster the link & smaller Pic the better it is
USB cameras gobble up coding time of CPU use >300mhz
do not have anything else running, Virus scanner, prt mon etc
software
1 Netmeeting is free
Paltalk slow framerate, shareware ?
Iphone between the two costs £30 ?
Modems have to be set for SYMETTRICAL speed Not 56k for 2 way
