I am trying to intergrate it in my own CMS....i'd have to learn PHPMotion API to understand how they do it. i'll download it and skim thru it. is there any php classes out there i can use for video upload upto playback

Okay, anyone know a good php library that is easy to install that can convert multiple movie formats to flv?

use ffmpeg and the php ffmpeg extension

caveat - i have not used the php extension. i tend to roll my own command line cmds and then exec() them as and when. but the extension has a good rep.

you will need root access of course.

caveat.....please gimme a link to there URL. google is not helping much on this one
