I have a cyrix 333 MHz PC with tomato mother board. It has onboard AGP card for which it uses shared memory for video.
The ram is 64 MB. The problem is thaT THE motion pictures are not smooth .I uninstalled the sound then I noticed smooth pictures are coming .but without sound. How can I overcome it ?
any one pls help.

Not sure but just to take a stab at it I would suggest you lose the Cyrix cpu...it's not really known as a good multimedia chip. What you've done effectively by removing sound is reducing the workload on the cpu which visually translates to smoother pictures.

a great video card can overcome a lot of weakness in a cpu but for the price of a killer card you might as well get a new motherbard a cpu instead. So long and thanks for all the fish.

Could be a RAM problem, you might try adding a little more, if you can get some from another machine. With the price of new RAM of this type, though , you would be better off following the previous readers' advice
