Thanks for the reply, actually, I did figure out how to place video behind other objects. Although, now it is a question of audio sync., a little more testing and I'll be sure. There is a check box in the video cast member's properties that says "Direct to Stage"...if this is un-checked, it frees the video, enabling layers to be placed on top.
So, it CAN be done, it IS possible...but at what price?...not sure.
you can also set up a mask for quicktime movies allowing them to be played as direct to stage and have a different shape, I think the lingo for it is under mask in the lingo dictionary.
