I am using LeadTools imaging and reciving a video feed from a usb camera which works well in Win 98 and NT 4.0 but in Win 2000 and XP there are Horzontal lines constatly scrolling through it.
Mouse 123 Hi i guess have you moved the cam away from the Monitor, to see if it clears, if so have you checked the video monitor settings in each OS, most importantly the vertical frame refresh rate, as most radiation is low frequency, and can be picked up by the cam ccd scanning cct. if not this, have you seen my other postings regarding the CPU time gobbling by USB cams, possibly as 2000 and XP are BLOATERWARE, there is no time left, to snatch the data from the USB bus/controller, So lines are lost. Another possibility is, if the IRQS are shared on the USB controller, and other items, it's running out of time again, configure it for one unique IRQ, or disable the other half of the USB controller, ah well there are a few things to try.. Hi, The data transfer rate of my hard disk is 3212 kbps and read transfer rate is 2616 kbps. I am unable to capture video from my DV camcorder using a firewire and pinnecle studio dv software as it gives me an error that data transfer rate is less than 4000 kbps. Can anyone please advice how to increase the data transfer rate. The speed of my hard disk is 4200 rpm.
