I have two machines that came with WinXP installed. I added the IIS component to both machines. I then installed Visual Studio 6.0 Enterprise on both. Both have Service PAck 5 installed. Neither recognizes either localhost or the machine name as a host, so I can't use VI. Does VI work on WinXP, and if so, is there something special I need to do?

Same thing happened to me. My problem was that I had not installed FrontPage Extensions, have you?

This question is actually meant for Dan.

Did you ever get XP Pro and Interdev 6 stepping into the lines of code in ASP? If so how?

I'm getting pretty depsperate!

Thanks,
John
