Does anyone know where to get reference information on the events passed out the serial port on the VGMC cards? I am getting a lot of "ELC: Info VGW card event 0x4 ignored
" messages, and can't seem to find any of these events in any publications or manuals.

Thanks,
Mark

ELC means election, no? if you work with SigServ + MC, you may have a E-Lan connection problem. I notice that the ethernet patch cable have sometime some problem to be correctly connected to the MC adaptor. Just try to pull it back to you. The cable must be latched correctly. Just check it

Does anyone have any idea on why I am getting an election every 30 seconds? Is this something I should be worried about, or is this similar to a heartbeat? Terminal session printout as follows:
MAR 23 00:01:28 ELC: Info VGW card event 0x4 ignored
