Hey folks. I'm using VFP 8, building an app (.exe) that has a ShowWindow value of "2 - As Top-Level form", and I keep the VFP Status Bar on. In the app built under Windows XP, the VFP status bar shows at the bottom, like normal. In Vista (with & with/out Aero), the status bar will not display!! I've moved the Status Bar On command around to different places, and no results. I've built it in VFP9 as well, and no status bar there either.

Anybody got any ideas or workarounds for this?

An update to my previous post: I've since found that the status bar IS showing on the main VFP window that starts when my program starts (I'm starting from a .prg, then calling the main form, which in turn displays a menu). Until the main background form gets called, the VFP window is blank, and the status bar shows. BUT, when the start.prg calls the main background form, that form displays in a NEW, separate window in Vista -- in XP, the main form displays INside the VFP window.

In XP, I was having to "Screen = Off" in my config.fpw so the main VFP window would not show -- but my main background form window did have the status bar at the bottom. It does NOT in Vista.

Any help would be appreciated!
