I have searched throughout the internet and is hoping to get some kind of pointer here. When I create an image in photoshop or have a high resolution jpeg image file, is it possible to save it so when used in illustrator file it will retain the clarity and resolution even when rescaled.
I read something about rasterizing or vectoring, but all it refers to are methods of drawing something and tracing it, which is not what I'm looking for. Is there a way to keep something such as a magazine cover that was scanned in good resolution?
To take one example, I'm making a simple brochure for my company, our HQ have logo files that can be resized almost indefinitely and still keeps its clarity. However, on top of using that image, I have very high resolution pictures which I would like to use. I photopshop it to change certain stuff and save it then insert it into the illustrator file. Is there a way to "vector" the picture file to keep its clarify even if enlarged?
