I took some Javascript classes when I was in college (2years ago) and now I need to use it to create some little programs here at work. My really stupid question is where can I download the files that I would need to be able to compile, test, run my programs? Please don't get mad if this is something that you have to pay for that's fine but if I can download it then that's better. I'm running windows 2000 if it matters.

Thanks everyone and sorry for such a random question.

You shouldn't need to download anything. All you need is a browser and a text editor (i.e. notepad).

Post back if you need more info.

Greg.

In the classes that I took we had a cool program that would let me create my javascripts visually and then I would have to edit the rest of the code to make it all work properly. I'm looking for something like that b/c I don't really remember any of the code :(

Do you mean javascript or java? Java you need compilers, etc...

I guess it would be Java then b/c we definitely had to compile it.
