Here's a good one for you all.
IP500v2 with customer using ISDN30, first party TAPI to dial out from customer database (Filemaker)
Over the course of a Friday in March, weekend and Monday there was a series of 8 hour calls to two numbers, one the main number of a client and one the DDI
(The carrier says that continuous calls get charged in 8 hour blocks).
These calls are not recorded in the call logger.
Now for June another two calls both about 9 hours, again running concurrently slightly different times though. The time on the bill is 2pm.
The carrier is blaming the customer and/or phone system.
So, is there any way that a call could be placed via the TAPI and put on hold and forgotten about?
Is there any way that a call could not be recorded by the call logger ?
Does the phone bill record the start time or end time of the call ? either the call started at 2pm minus 9 hours or ended at 2pm plus 9 hours when no-one would have been in the office.
Any thoughts as to what is happening ? and how to stop it ?
We are running Monitor 24/7 to try and capture a log if it happens again.
Thank you.
