Just wondering we are running version 25 21 release 3 is this succession release 3 ?

It is a CS1000M SG running 3.0 software. Processor is most likely a CP3

yyrkroon is correct it is a Single group CS1000M on CP3 motorolla processors. Formerly Option 61C.

25 is the system type
21 tells you it is Sucession
Release 3 is the X21 release you are on.

FYI this info is older but here it is anyway. Hope this helps others

In the future, goto ld 143 &
.ksho rec

This will show your current keycodes with a big Succession & group type at the System Type field if you have it.

When I do an ISS this is what I get:

>LD 22
PT2000

REQ ISS

VERSION 3021
RELEASE 4
ISSUE 50 W +
IDLE_SET_DISPLAY

So this is telling me my switch is a Succession 3.0 at Release 4.5?

We have the CP4 processor - has anyone actually changed their processor to the CPPIV?

Does anyone know the EOL date for the CP4?

I am in a really big quandry right now in trying to decide what to do going forward. We have multiple sites with various Nortel equipment - 11C's, 9150's, mini carrier remotes, SRG / BCM50's, Branch offices.

My vendor has quoted me $82K (CDN$) to upgrade one of my 11C's to a CS1000E at Rls 5.

They also quoted me $62K (CDN$) to change my current CP4 process to the CPPIV processor and Rls 5.

We had all our VOIP budget money removed from the current capital requests so I only have a bit of what I didn't spend last year which is around $60K (CDN$).

For some reason, I have developed a mental block on the requirements for changing all our old equipment to a VOIP platform. I have been at presentations about it, but I am having a really hard time understanding it.

I know I've run on a bit, but can anyone offer any advice perhaps?

Thanks to all.

This is a New Question and you should start a new thread.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Ya, I thought that after I submitted.

I will start a new thread.
Thanks.
