Verizon Treo 650 palm based

Hello, I just bought a used Treo 650 off ebay. It did not come iwth any install software because supposedly the retailer said the software os free on the web.

Does anyone know where the link is for this software. I owned a tungsten e and recently dropped my PDA in teh snow annd fried it. So I upgrade to this smart phone. Is the Palm desktop app different the verizon specifica applications. It's confusing.
