Verizon lowers the cost of E911 PS-ALI! 1

The carriers are starting to do their part to make E911 affordable for businesses!

Verizon Cost Support has removed the monthly recurring charges (MRC) from new PS-ALI contracts executed after March 21 in the non-tariff, and deregulated states.

The one-time Non-Recurring Charge for the setup of PS/ALI is $2500 but there is no MRC in the following states: DE, FL, IL, MD, MA, MI, NJ, NC, OR, PA, RI, SC, VA, WA, DC, and WV.

Any customers with agreements in place prior to that date can request a revised rate quote and the current agreement will be updated to reflect the removal of the MRC. There will be no additional NRC if the original NRC has been paid.

VZ has been great. In fact they have been the most flexible and helpful on E911 implementations. Bottom line is you need to get to the right folks. You know that all too well John I am sure after the time you have spent in this business. It's as much of WHO you know as WHAT you know. ;-)
