I tried to connect to my companies website with 3 different computers. I was able to connect with any other ISP from all machines. With Verizon DSL I am able to go to any other websites including secure websites except my companies websies including www, ftp, https. Another Employee from my company just got Verizon DSL and he is experiencing the same issues. I tried a tracert of the websites and I can get the same time out on each website. I had my ISP change me to a new global sevice provider from Genuity to Quest and I still have my same result to the tracert. I have no firewall blocking access. CAN ANYONE WITH VERIZON POST IF THEY GET THE SAME RESULTS TO A TRACERT. I also deleted all cookies and temporary internet files. Any ideas PLEASE.

Can you get to your company website from anywhere? I did a traceroute from two ISP's and cant get past that BBN planet router. I suspect something is hosed on their end, unless you can actually get into your website from elsewhere.

It is only my opinion, based on my experience and education...I am always willing to learn, educate me!

I checked it from at least 4 or 5 other ISP's and in all cases it worked. try a tracert on this should definitly not be blocked.

I had similar problem with Verizon DSL while connecting to sites like got some updates from MS site and I am able to access the sites.I am running on win xp prof.
Still I have an open issue with logging into hotmail, or yahoo, I still cannot do any upload of file.
Verizon support center has no solution.

It is possible that your static IP address for your DSL has been blocked by p1-0.chcgil1-cr1.bbnplanet.net [4.24.5.242] it is probably load balancing and chucked you off, to test this ask your ISP if you can change your IP (unless you need it)

You don't mention if the PC you are using was once on your corporate network (either desktop relocated from home, or laptop that is mobile). On one of my systems that was moved, I had problems getting the 'old' IP address (what was on the 'company' side of the router before) to release properly, and had exactly this same problem... I had to manually release/renew all interfaces to get it to work. Good luck...

You need to get ahold of Verison and your companies ISP and find out who is not connecting to who.... somebodies router is not doing its stuff....
