one of my servers root password has been changed. root filesystem is a part of Veritas , how do i mount root filesystem after booting form CD . Do i need to do anything special ?
Please help

Do you mean its encapsulated?

You will have to mount both sides of the encapsulated device, just mount one side, say its c0t0d0 and c0t0d1 that are being used.. mount c0t0d0, change the password.. unmount, then mount the other side, c0t0d1, change the password.. unmount.. boot.. use the new password..
