Ok this has probably been posted before but here it is again.
If you get the error unable to attach to system state, or when you choose exchange mailboxes it asks for the unique email address, and you enter this but it still returns the error that the email address is incorrect, do this
Navigate to the veritas folder and into the DATA folder, in there is a file called BEWINUI rename this to BEWINUI.old and logoff windows, relog back on and open Veritas connect to backup server putting in correct credentials for the veritas account, choose the correct email address if your backing up the exchange mailboxes etc, and all should work, what happens is the BEWINUI file holds the security and login infomation for veritas and for some reason it doesnt update correctly, thus givein permission denied, There is an explenation on Veritas site but this is in laymans terms for you lot. When you rename the file it creates a new 1 the next time u open veritas. I hope this helps someone, as it did me and i back up 3 servers all using remote agent and SQL and exchange and i know get all 3 perfect.
