Hi!

We’re trying a new scheduler in my company. We want to check from a single window all the scheduled tasks in different systems.
We’re working with Veritas Netbackup 5.0 and we would like to integrate it with our scheduler.
The scheduler allows us to execute commands at a system level, so that we need all the commands for scheduling and generating Veritas backups.
We have different backup policies defined for Windows (i.e. System State) and Unix systems.
How can we get those Veritas backup commands?

regards

check for the command "bpbackup" in the documents listed above

Just because the VERITAS documentation states a certain thing does not make it a fact and that is truth.

uhhh, yeah, the command guide from Veritas' website....

Bob - Nice patience... I get perturbed with engineers who cannot go to a product site and look at manuals...

Hello,

Our backup server A (win2k) was crashed because of some reasons. Now I installed veritas 4.5 and licenses on another server B trying to make new server setup but still want to use all old tapes. So I restored db,volmgr, database directories from Catlog tapes. After restoring these, The new server B is trying to see old server A. I cannot change server name... So what I need to do at this point. And also, where I can find FP 2 for Veritas 4.5.. At this poing I can not switch to any other versions.. Please help.
