Veritas back up fails

hi guys,

We are trying to backup using veritas 9.1 for windows.Backup fails everytime it writes 5 gb into tape.we decided to go for compressed option as hardware doesnt have that option.but again it failed when it is 5gb.This is it problem with tape capacity or i have to go someother features available in veritas.

without giving us the backup log it is difficult to answer you. It is probably a full tape but the log will help.
