Veritas 4.5 restore 1

Hi

Im fairly new to this and am trying to restore an informix database using netbackup 4.5.

The original backup of said database took approx 2 hours but the restore takes up to 10 times that.

Question is...Is there configuration options to multi-thread the backups and restores to speed them up.

If you multiplexed/streamed/stripped the backup, the restore will take a long time.

Plus, be sure to turn off anti-virus software during the restore.

Thanks guys...turns out that using this version of veritas with our version of informix shouldnt work anyway so i need to upgrade to veritas 5 and try it again.
