I'm not sure if this is a browser problem or...

I am no longer able to view legibly the Verdana font style when it appears on a web page as "size=1"

I had IE ver 5.5 and upgraded to ver. 6.0 which did not solve the problem.

Any suggestions?

All other fonts appear fine.

Open Control Panel and look in Fonts, does the font exist on your computer?

Yes, the Verdana font is there. I should also mention that in any other font size, Verdana looks as it should on a web page. The only problem size is "1" which is illegible.

Thanks for any help :)

Fonts, of course, can become corrupt.
You may have already tried removing and replacing it.
If not, may I suggest it?

thank you... I had thought of doing that too & dismissed it since the other sizes in the font are fine. But, you have seconded the idea... so, I'll try it :)

I figured out the problem! It's very simple to fix. In you IE browser go to view --> Text Size --> and simply make it bigger! It's that easy!!! I had this problem before too. Then one day it just came to me! and now i dont have any problems with it again!!!!!!
