Veiw an attatchment or the email page!!??

You get an email with an attatchment that is supposed to be a picture, through hotmail. At the bottom it says veiw attatchment, you should be able to click on that and see what has been sent , Right!!?? Well that didn't work. I just get the download message so I download the file. I then try to open it and all I get is a picture of the email page! What am I doing wrong? Or is it some other problem? Please help!

I do believe that what you're experiencing is not a problem with Win Me, 'cause I have the exact same problem with multiple OS's...I think it has something to do with how that attachment is generated in Hotmail OR...by the sender...OR...by the website itself.

i have seen this porblem with yahoo try right clicking on the pic and then open in new windows and then it should open it So long and thanks for all the fish.

What you should do is that the first time it asks you to open from location vs. save, you should choose open from location. The second time you want to save it to the hard drive - that is if you want to save it.
