Is there anyway to re-number a vdn?
I have a large number of stations that have to be deleted and then converted to VDNs. I was hoping to pre-build the VDNs and then somehow change the numbering to my recently deleted station numbers. Working with CM 5.2.
I do have ASA (no provision).

You can build everything up including the vectors so you can test on whatever number. Then just come back to the vdn and remove it and add it back with the number you want on it. Point it the the vector and your done.

When is the last time you helped someone, just because you were able to?

Indeed , you can also use the duplicate vdn command to cut down on time , you would obviously have to go in to each vdn when created to change the specific options "vector "etc , but in answer to your question I think you mean can you have duplicate numbers , the answer is no.

You could export your station list using ASA and edit then like wise do the same with the vdn and import back when the changes are made , you would have to do the stations first then vdn so no conflicts occur.

APSS (SME)
ACSS (SME)
ACIS (UC)

You can use the ASA Import Data feature to do it all. Export the station data then use Excel to create an import spreadsheet.
