vdisk showing up 8 times on fdisk -l

Hi

linux 5.5 redhat 64bit

we have mount point presented once. Excuse me for simple question ... why is is showing up 8 times under fdisk -l

card:-
QLogic QMH2462 4Gb FC HBA (Dual Port)

Multipathing? any pointers would be greatly appreciated..

This is because you have not enabled multipathing. I am not sure how it's done in redhat but during my first experience with SAN LUNs under Windows, the same disk would appear 4x as I had 4 paths to the disk. The same principle would apply here
