Will a VCM32 v2 card work in a V1 system on R8?

they will work on a 500V1 with the correct firmware.
I cant remember the firmware level they were introduced at sorry

According to the Avaya devconnect matrix a VCM32v2 is supported from R9.0 and up.

The cards came in 8.1 GA but they were also added in a service pack to 8.0.

Anything from firmware 8.0(46) and you should be fine.
