Afternoon All!

Is there anyway of identifying if an IP Office has a VCM installed without removing the lid and checking the expansion slot?

Just asking, as it saves me doing unnecessary "out of hours work"...I must be getting old!

Thanks,

Phil.

Yes you can easily identify the VCM modules.
Open up the monitor application and connect to IPO unit.
Within the initial connection message you can identify the VCM's. The "VCOMP" tells you how many VCM cahnnels are installed.

1mS PRN: Monitor Started IP=192.168.201.2 IP 403 3.0(40) FirstCall
1mS PRN: LAW=U PRI=0, BRI=0, ALOG=8, ADSL=0 VCOMP=5, MDM=0, WAN=0, MODU=1 LANM=0 CkSRC=0 VMAIL=1(VER=2 TYP=1) CALLS=1(TOT=4353)

Thanks for that!

I found the info at exactly the same time you posted the reply!

Now that is what I call prompt service!

Thanks again!
