VBScript Virus

I have never heard of VBScript before, but all of a sudden all my Mp3's, picture files, and movies started to turn into VBScript files on their own. I am thinking maybe it is some kind of virus. Please help me figure out how to fix this problem.

There are a LOT of VBScript viruses out there. Get some good anti-virus software, like Norton or McAfee (I recommend the former, personally), and keep your virus definitions updated. You can read about all the viruses as they're discovered at

You have a virus and must get rid of it and add some virus protection.
