vbs file problem

when i double click a .vbs file i have created, it
opens in notepad instead of executing. I wanted to
check here with people before i dive into what could
be causing this. If anyone had ever had this problem before
please let me know.

You need to associate the vbs file extension to WScript.exe This is done by creating a file associaton, open windows explorer go to Tools Folder OPtions, find the vbs extension and edit to set the open command to C:\WINNT\System32\WScript.exe "%1" %*, the edit command should point to Notepad
