VBA Modifier - Add New Field

I'm using Microsoft Great Plains 7.5 with the VBA Modofier.
I want to add a custom field to an existing form. I'm able to add the field to the form but how does it link up to a field in a table. When I add data to the field that I just added, it doesn't store the data when I press save. Can anyone help me out. Thanks

Also, try using extender instead. A lot easier, no code, no VB, and no modifier.
