I'm new to Access 2000 and I'm having a problem with the editor. If I type in something like "Me." (without the quotes) the list constants will pop up for a split second then disappear before I can select anything from the list. I've searched everywhere for a solution and I haven't found anything. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing my problem? I am very dependent on the constants list because I haven't been coding long enough to remember what my options are.

One guess, you have a form where you utilize the timer event, if so, try closing that while coding.

No. That was a very good guess, but I'm not using any timers.

Oooops.....I apologize. I had forgotten that I am using a timer on my startup form. You were right. I temporarily removed the form from start up until I finish my code and the list constants are cooperating with me now. I didn't realize that the timer would do that. Thanks a million!
