Hi All!
I'm new to Crystal Reports having just talked my IS department into loading Crystal V.7 on my workstaion. I work as a Data Analyst, and write programs specific to my industry (Healthcare) on an ongoing basis. I've been told, or have read, that Crystal Reports is integrated with VB6. I own Visual Studio 6 Professional version, and don't recall seeing that option on install. Could someone give me the info on this? (I'd like to install Crystal on my PC at home without spending the bucks for new software) Thanks for your time!
Nick

I believe Version 4.6 of Crystal is an optional install within Visual Studio 6

Since you own it, you are eligible to purchase an upgrade version of Crystal. If you need to write your own custom programs integrating the Crystal runtime components, you can purchase the upgrade version of Crystal Developer.

Ido,
Thanks for the tip! I will mainly use Crystal with existing data sources (AS400 - DB2, Access, Excel). So I could play with the 4.6 version by doing a custom install of my Visual Studio? If so, that's great!

Whoops!
Cant find Crystal in any of the install options on my Visual Studio 6 Professional CD. Any ideas out there?
