VB6 - Cannot load frm 1

I have a vb project originaly coded in VB ver6 Prof on an NT wrkstnt platform. Also have the exe copy of the project. Recently had a PC rebuilt Win2000 wrk stnt plus installed VB6 enterprise ed. The exe version runs fine no problems but i cannot seems to open the originaly project it fails on only one form, the rest pf the project loads OK.
Get following err msgs:
1st error is "Error during load. Refer to log"
2nd error is Cannot load project. continue loading project. Yes/No"
The log file contains the following message:

Line 161: The file C:\Data\PAYROL~1\FRMFIN~1.FRM could not be loaded.

What does the .log file say?

Does that file exist? If it does, does it have an associated .frx file? If it does, rename the .frx file as something else. Make a copy of the .frm file under a new name for backup. Try to load the project again. If it loads, it will rebuild the .frx but without and Pictures or Icons for the form. These will have to be reassigned in the form properties window. Now do FILE / SAVE Project. It should ask where to put the form rather than save it directly. Save it where it belongs.

John i have tried your suggestions but no joy in loading this form. I renamed the .frx but still frm refuses to load.
Looks like i'll just have to recreate it and cut and paste what i can unless you have any further suggestions.
