VB script to copy and paste text between 2 windows to x/y coord

I need to be able to select text from one window, then paste it into another. This needs to be controlled from access although neither of the windows involved are access sessions. One is a terminal emulator session and the other is a 3rd party application. If possible I need to take text from the 3rd party app then paste it to a spcific x/y cooridnate in the terminal session, but a a simple cut and paste between windows will do if this not easily possible?

Not sure if Access is what you want to use.
Visual Basic is probably better because it has a Clipboard copy and paste function built in. The example I have for Access does not work.
But you could try SendKeys in Access or VB.
The Problem is highlighting the text in the first app. It needs to be done with key strokes.

Does the first app have any Menu items like “File” “Edit” /Copy?
Etc.

There may be a macro scheduler somewhere that can help. I don't know of any good ones myself, but I haven't looked much.

Both of the windows have edit, copy and paste menu's yes. The first window that I need to collect the data from, the entry is the ONLY data in the window. Its just 11 alphanumeric characters. The Other window is a reflections terminal session. Ideally the data needs pasting to a specific x/y but if I have to position the cursor before as x/y isn't possible then I guess I can do.
