VB commands for OWC.spreadsheet

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get a list of, or a good online guide to using Office Web Components.

I'm trying to develop an asp page that exstracts data from a database and places it into an Excel template.

Any ideas would be much aprechiated.

I did a search, but I didn't find anything that covered what I was looking for.

I know how to create a new excel spreadsheet using OWC.
What I really need to do is open an existing spreadsheet to use as a template to put the data into.

I've read on a couple of sites that you can do this by streaming an XML version of your template spreadsheet and then adding your data, but this is something I have never covered before and don't know where to start, if this is the answer.

Has anyone done this before who can offer me some advice.
