VB access of mainframe data using SNA

Good morning everyone,

I am looking for some examples or information on accessing data (VSAM, Seq., or other flat files) stored on an IBM mainframe from a VB 6 module. According to the documentation in MSDN, this is done through SNA, ADO, OLEBD/DDM, and ODBC. I have been looking for examples over the past several weeks, and I’m coming up empty handed. Hopefully someone out there has accomplished this, and any help would be appreciated.

I believe you will need the "Host Integration Server" for accessing mainframe VSAM etc.
