Hi everyone! I'm having trouble with tapeware.
First Prob:
I made a backup-job by the book, sheduled it and so on. The job starts at the desired time, makes a overview what files it has to save and stops right there as if the job is done. The LOG ist looking like:

Files to backup: 326437
Size to backup: 864334670kb
backuped files: 0
backuped size: 0kb
backup complete.

What's most strange: when I tell him manually to start the job, the files are actually being saved.

Second Problem:
Although I activated Hard/Software-Compression, only about 16-20 Gig of the 40gig-tapes are being used. What's wrong?

I would suggest trying to regenerate the TapeWare database (there's a tech doc on Yosemite's site). Before doing that, be sure to write down how your scheduled job are configured...

To the second problem:
what kind of tapes do you use? And, leave software compression out, just be sure hardware compression on the device is on. It's the best compression available, but take a look at TID 1264 from Yosemite Support.
