The customer wants to use the $CLI variable to route certain area codes to certain extensions. The variable routing specific is limited to 14 entries, after that Icannot add anymore (greyed out).I there a way to add multiple area codes to 1 specific variable route?

Use the CLI routing of IP Office instead and route to different VM Pro modules

That won't work because auto attendant is answering all calls. Then when they press 1 for sales is the only time this routing needs to take place. Any other options here?

why don't you use variable routing x 2 or more, e.g.

call ---- variable routing --- Match 001, 002...014
route to xxx

No Match-----Variable Routing#2....Match 015...016
route to xxx

Actually, you can still use intrigrant's idea. First build the incoming call routes based on CLI. When they press 1 for sales, just transfer to that.

I think I understand TheTaker's idea and will try it. With intrigrant's when you press 1 and have that go to an incoming call route and you can only have 1 CLI match for each incoming call route so that wouldn't work.

This is going to take for ever to program and look rediculous in VMPro client. I have to enter every area code in the US.

Over here (the Netherlands) it's possible to buy a 0900 or a 0800 number, then the provider routes the call to a specific DDI number in the IPO based on area code. Then you only need to copy/past the exsiting modules in VMPro you've already made.

here's a thought.
You obviously have certain groups and extensions for set regions so number then accordingly, e.g. area code 0011234 number the group as 60011234

Call to VMPro Module with Just a transfer to 6$CLI
the reason i put a 6 is so you can still dial the area code normally.

so that the incoming call with CLI whatever will be transferred to number 6 & CLI, matching above.

Not too sure if it would work but worth a try.
