Good Morning.
I have a report that prints at detail time a student name and their disciplinary actions. I need to print a total for each action at the end of the report. My dilemia is that currently their are a possible 60 different actions and that can be added to at any time. I only want to output those actions that were printed in the detail section. So, one day, there could be 10 action totals and the next, there could be 25 action totals. I am not sure how to handle this without creating 60 differnt running total formulas. Any ideas that could point me in the right direction?
Many thanks.

You could put a subreport in the report footer that is grouped by Action.

A crosstab in the report footer would do this, and with less overhead than a sub report.

I second the crosstab idea. Perfect application for this.

Thank you all. I had never created a cross tab report and now I'm hooked.
