Looks like time to start a new "...Plates" thread (since we're well over 100 on the Vanity Plates III thread).

Here's James Cottingham's last post from the Vanity Plates III thread:

...And FLapeyre's contribution, which "snuck" in while I was starting this thread:

This morning, I saw

UNDABOS

The plate frame had a bunch of those simulated peel-and-stick bullet holes.

You got a problem with that?

Vanity Plates IV...a new hope. No wait...that's Star Wars...sorry! [lightsaber]

Yesterday I saw
kisdafrg

To make it funnier the car was frog green and had a baby seat. I guess she did a lot more than kiss the frog.

...and with my lysdexia, I read it as kidsafrg, which would be proof that there was more than kissing involved. <grin>

I saw this on a Mitsubishi Montero yesterday...
TWIN 2IN - I was thinking maybe it was just a clever way to say TWIN twice...TWIN TWO-IN. Any other thoughts?

Maybe it's because I was just approached by someone with quixtar (the new name for the Amway company), but my first thought was the phrase, "in to win" with the 2IN sounding like to-win.

So perhaps the car belongs to a twin who's in quixtar.

Not to get off topic, but are any of y'all ever solicited by these folks?

Nice double usage off of the G in that one.

Even though it is off topic, those pyramid scheme guys from Quixtar did approach me once while I was at college. A friend bought into it. He still does not like to talk about it. Another friend bought into it after college, and he was telling me that after shipping costs, you get nothing cheaper than you would at the store. It is just that you threw your money out the window to join them.

This morning on a Lexus ES300: LIVER

I have no idea what it meant to the owner, but it was kinda funny to me since I was on my way to an AA meeting when I saw it!

My wife and I were probably about 6 years ago, I guess. Just were minding our own business, shopping, guy starts up a conversation, and BAM! he wants to possibly hire me in an expansion of his new business! [wink]

I said, sure, why not, you can drop by, and discuss it. Then before our meeting time, I researched the name, and found the whole amway thing. Gave him a call, asked a couple questions - the meeting never happened. [ponder]

Seen yesterday...

WNNROAM

Nice use of "Roam" instead or "Rome" on a means of transportation.

Here's one I saw a few days ago:

I guess she's just getting in the first insult.

Actually, it looks like she's getting in the 6th insult. 5 others must've beat her to it. [rednose]

Most recent one has been SU5I XXV - presumably for Susi's 25th birthday?

I want to be good, is that not enough?
