I have an aged invoice report. I have have added a subreport to each invoice line in the main report that specifies who the manager is for the invoice. When I run the main report I would like to be able to select the report for only one manager, so that I can have an AR list for one manager. Can this be done as the manager is coming from the subreport.

I would appreciate any help you can give me.

Thanks

What is your link to the subreport? Surely, you can include the managers in the main report, eliminating the need for a subreport.

You can create a parameter to select the manager you want or have a default for All to get a complete report.

Just in case no one says it, you can't filter the main report based on the subreport, because the subreports happen AFTER main report records have been selected.

If you can't link directly you might try reversing the main and subreports.

Thank you to kskid and kenhamady for your help. I thought there might me something with the timing issue that wouldn't let me filter the main report based on the subreport. The way the data is stored does not allow me to include the manager on the main report.

What is your link to the subreport to get the managers name? Surely, there has to be a link that ties the manager to the invoice.

Thanks for the help. I have checked with a few other people who have expertise in the software that I am using and they said that there is no other way to do it but a sub report.
