The Pc time is correct
The value under Report->Set Print Date and Time is set to 'Todays Date and Time'

but still my date value is incorrect.... (05/Sep when it should be 09/Sep)
Any suggestions much appreciated

Have you gone into the Control Panel->date/time of your PC to confirm that the date is correct there?

Yeah, sorry should have made that clearer when I said the PC time is correct I meant under Control Panel -> Date and Time, the date is correct.

how are you displaying the date and time on the report ? if you are using a formula can you post it here.

if you are using a special field which one are you using, remember modified date and modified time show the date and time the report was last saved to see the date and time the report was last run you should be using data date and data time.

check on the Control Panel>regional settings
see what settings you have there.

you should have english (uk)
and also have a look at the date settings

Thanks for all your suggestions -

Formula I'm using is called EndDate and all it contains is the 'CurrentDate' function, not doing anything fancy with it until I get it displaying the correct date.

I've put the Special fields onto my report to see what they display:
Data Date - Sep 05
Date Time - 11:55:02
Modification Date - Sep 05
Modification Time - 11:46:06

Regional options are also fine - english (uk) and the Short date=09/09/2005 and Long Date=09 September 2005

I feel like I'm going mad!

what format do you have set for the EndDate formula ?

what displays for EndDate, Data Date and Modified Date when you set the format as DD/MM/YYYY ?

Which version of Crystal? And does the problem relate to different sorts of date? Mine has distinct data-date and print-date values.

I'm guessing that GJParker nailed this--it looks like the month and year are being displayed, not the month and day.

Looks to me like you might have your date formatted to mmm yy.
So you are not seeing the day number at all. (Is the textbox large enough?)

Thanks to all for your help, GJParker pointed me in the right direction. The field is displaying correctly but short as it was right-aligned and the text box was too wee, doh.

Thanks again to everyone.
