Upon EXIT of a FORM, how do you validate a field NOT to be space? Thanks!

On Exit is a little late for validation. You can use various events of the control, a validation rule, or an earlier event of the form, Before Update is suitable. You may wish to look at faq702-2071.

Bottom line: enforce all the validation rules in the BeforeUpdate event procedure of the form and play with the Cancel parameter.
