VAL Board Locking up

I have had VAL Boards lock up and block calls. Meaning the board needs to be Busy Reset Released to get it working again. Now I have to do a RCA report. (root cause) for the management team.

Has anyone found the reason yet?

Are you running the most-current firmware (FW21) on the VAL board? There are two different downloads, depending on your hardware vintage.

We are at HW 01 and FW021.
The card is the only one at HW 01, the others cards are HW 02 or 03

We had boards lock up. Avaya suggested it was due to the length of characters in some of our announcements. We changed the standards for announcement names to 21 characters or less and haven't run into problems since.
