Has anyone setup VNR to go to a primary NRS for all number resolution? we currently have the sites route via SIP to the main PBX where in the old school way we have it handling the VNR. I would love to point any VNR to the primary or alt NRS and handle it that way

Help if you can

If you are sending vnr's to your sip route doesn't your nrs then tell the call where to go.

This is a pretty common practice.

Just remember the limitations of VNR - you only specify a single RLI for all of your numbers, so you can't really implement alternate routing for numbers to different areas, you are limiting the routes that calls can take to their destinations.

On the other hand, it is very easy to implement, and does not require any maintenance on the PBX's, you just need to keep your routing entries in the NRS up to date and complete.

that was extremely simple and I had it pointed incorrectly - I had it pointed to the PRI not the SIP route

THANKS
