one ds 6416 ext on reception, regardless of what port it is assigend to i cannot get dial tone thru speaker or jandset, all other functions work ok, it rings they answer transfer etc...swap phone same thing, swap port same thing, reboot same thing, just this one ext.#$@^$$@#$$#$$#@#

have you tried flashing the unit and starting from scratch?

Problem, solved, another guy at another site in the scn had changed a name to match a name at my site at the same time I was there. Cooincidence? or fate?
