Hi all,

Has anyone tried to install power source redundancy in an V class server.

Best regards.

The V2200 and V2250 has the ability to have an additional power supply added to the system for N+1 protection. N+1 is standard in the V2500/V2600 models.

Hi,

Perhaps I haven´t explained well. We have an UPS and I am not worried about a power-cut(electrogen group) but if we made changes in the electric installation we have to cut the power suply in the electric derivation and we want to conect it to another electric derivation and the V class server has only one power cable. We want to do it without rewiring the cables of the V system so if anyone has made it before any advice would be welcome.

Best regards.
