My server continuously gives me the following message in my /var/adm/messages file:

"/dev/dtremote in utmpx is not a tty"

Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it?

Thanks a lot.

Hi
The device file /dev/dtremote is created when you do a
remote login to CDE.
You can see this if you use an X Windows server, for example
, from a PC (I use Attachmate KEA!X).
A long listing of /dev/dtremote shows that it is normally
a symbolic link to /dev/null. I would check to see if this
file exists, because someone could have created it, or it
might have been caught in a system crash...

Good luck
